All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
Spanner bushings (also called shoulder bushings or spacers) — steel spacer sleeves that go between the caster frame and the wheel bearing. Maintains proper axle alignment, prevents the bearing from being squeezed, ensures the wheel spins freely. Required when the wheel is narrower than the caster frame gap. Stocked at our Mansfield, TX facility.

Spanner bushings are the small steel tubes that go around the axle between the caster frame and the bearings on each side. They keep the wheel centered and prevent the axle bolt from squeezing the bearings as it's tightened.
The bushing length must match the gap between caster frame and wheel hub on each side. Too short = bearing squeezed. Too long = wheel won't fit.
Inside diameter matches axle diameter. 5/16, 3/8, 1/2 inch most common.
Standard spanner bushings are zinc-plated steel. Stainless for wet environments.
When replacing just the wheel (not the whole caster), check if your existing wheel has spanner bushings — order replacements if needed.
