Pneumatic replacement wheels in 8 and 10 in sizes, either air-filled with an inner tube or poly-foam filled so they never go flat. Air tires are rated 250 to 350 lb and foam tires 250 to 280 lb per wheel.
Every wheel on this page has the tall, soft profile of a hand truck tire, but the inside differs. An air tire uses an inner tube you inflate [S1]. A poly-foam tire is filled solid, so it keeps its shape with no air at all [S1]. Hamilton offers foam-filled tires as a factory option on its own pneumatic casters for exactly this reason: flat-free service with a similar footprint [S2].

Pick air when cushion matters most. Pressure is adjustable, so you can soften the tire for a light, fragile load or pump it up for heavy work and easier rolling [S2]. Pick foam when downtime matters most, such as rental fleets, job sites with nails and screws, or equipment that sits for months between uses and would come back flat. Foam tires give up a little cushion and stay at a fixed firmness.
Both builds are rubber-treaded and suit dirt, grass and rough pavement. Neither is for heat or harsh chemicals: Hamilton rates its rubber pneumatic tires low for chemical and abrasion resistance and to 120°F at the top end [S3].

Yes, if the diameter, width, hub offset and bore match. Our 8 x 2-3/4 in foam tire replaces an 8 in air tire, and the 10 x 3 in foam tire a 10 in air tire. The foam tires are rated a bit lower on the 10 in size, 280 lb against 350 lb.
Yes. The B&P 10 in pneumatic tire tube with valve stem fits 10 in tires.
Ply rating describes the strength of the tire casing. Hamilton uses 4-ply on its 8, 10 and 12 in pneumatic casters and moves to 6, 8 and 10-ply on larger sizes.
