All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.

The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.

Scaffolding Casters · 6"–8" · 410–2,000 lb · Polyurethane & Rubber

These scaffolding casters lock both the wheel and the swivel so rolling scaffolds stay put while crews work. Casters in this collection range from 410 to 800 lb per caster. Sets of 4 are rated 1,600 to 3,200 lb per set. Wheels are 6 and 8 in by 2 in wide in mold on rubber and polyurethane (poly or urethane). Mold on rubber is quiet on finished floors and poly handles heavier loads. Soft rubber or TPR tread is the better pick when the floor has chips or grit. Match the stem or plate to the scaffold frame before you order. Capacities below are per caster unless a listing says set. Read the listing for the exact wheel size, overall height, and mount shown. Confirm the load rating printed on the title before you order. Measure the old wheel or caster before you buy. Total lock aisle: total locking casters. Rubber wheel aisle: mold on rubber casters.
