Hamilton's Nylast wheel is made from solid cast high performance nylon. Nylast is of cast nylon, and has superior impact strength and resilience compared to conventional injection-molded nylon wheels. The Hamilton Nylast material is also specially formulated with finely divided particles of molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) to enhance its load bearing capability while maintaining the impact resistance inherent to nylon.
Other key properties of Nylast include resistance to moisture and chemicals plus floor protection resulting in a wheel well-suited for corrosive environments or applications where sanitary conditions are important.
