Series ES & EHS Extended Service Casters

When grueling loads and continuous operations exist, Hamilton's Extended Service & Enhanced Heavy Service Casters with HPI™ Swivel Technology are the right choice. Both ES & EHS Series Casters are an excellent choice for use on in-plant trailers, towline carts, or AGV systems. The ES Series features 3" wide wheels and platinum powder coat finish whereas the EHS Series features 2" wide wheels and a red crimson powder coat finish.

Quality Features & Specs

Swivel Construction All models have 3/8" thick forged steel mounting plate and horn base. Precision laser cut legs 5/16" x 2 1/2" on ES models and 1/4" x 2" on EHS models.
Kingpin Integrally forged with mounting plate, guaranteed for life, 1" diameter on ES models and 3/4" dia. on EHS models. Both series have slotted nuts secured by cotter pin for positive locking.
Main Load Bearing HPI™ thrust bearing with outside diameter of 3 1/2"; raceways hardened to 58-62HRC and ground to surface finish 16 micro inches.
Secondary Load Bearing Precision tapered thrust bearing counteracts radial thrust, 1" on ES and 3/4" on EHS.
Product Finish Powder Coated - Caster rigs are powder coated with Hamilton’s new Platinum Powder for the ES Series and Red Crimson powder for the EHS Series, both are metallic HAA Polyesters providing a premium look and excellent durability for both interior and exterior environments.
Axle Bolt and nut type, 3/4" on ES models and 1/2" on EHS models.
Lubrication Fittings Ball-check type in swivel assembly and wheel hubs with tapered or straight roller bearings.
