CasterHQ's 40 Series Casters are hot forged ASTM 1045 steel kingpinless casters that can withstand up to 2,000 lbs per yoke. Whether it's machinery, military, fabrication, tow-lines or automotive equipment, the 40 series will deliver. Combined with our Semi-Steel Wheels also known as Gray Iron Wheels which can with stand up to 1,400 lbs per wheel, these wheels are economical for any application. Our semi-steel wheels are precisely machined with a tensile strength of 30,000 PSI and can withstand temperatures from -40F to 600F. Semi Steel wheels come in different hub designs depending on the size of the wheel selected. Photos will match the hub design you order. If you have a special hub design such as a solid core, solid 3 spoke, solid 4 spoke, open 4 spoke, solid 5 spoke, 5 spokes, solid 6 spokes, or open 6 spokes, give us a call and we will let you know our inventory levels and the diameters available with your wheel design request. The hardness of these wheels are on a Brinell scale of 145.
